The be-all and end-all of the spinning dancer meme is here. I bet all of you will be able to "switch" between clockwise and counterclockwise, if not at will then at least easier than before, after seeing this.

That seems to be the normal case. For me, I COULD NOT make her go counterclockwise until I was told a trick, shortly before finding the first link above.

I think my experience proves the left-brain-right-brain explanation hooey, by the way. I'm the most left-brained person in the world.

Whereas I read the scanty article and my immediate question was "Wait, do they mean clockwise looking down from above or up from below?"

Which might reasonably prime the logic/maths center a bit more.
