(no subject)

Fully 7.3% of the people on my Friends list have gotten engaged within the past year. Mazel tov to the latest two!

And this doesn't even count the one of you who was blathering about rings awhile ago without actually buying one, or the other 18 of you who wouldn't surprise me at all if you got engaged tomorrow. Or those of you who are already married.

The funny thing is that I think I have my wedding dress, I just don't have a significant other.

I must say, it might not surprise you if I got married tomorrow, but it would come as quite a shock to me!

glad to be part of the "not getting married any time soon" portion of your friends list

no boyfriend, don't plan to marry until age 30+, no kids until 35+.... but I do have my kids' names: elle, will, james, jack, claire.
not that I'm having five. but those are the names I like right now.

I just looked at your info friendslist. 7.3%. That's a lot. I'm glad I'm not planning on getting engaged tomorrow either.

Ah shit, I never sent you that email did I? And now you're off to Havurah/Folk yourself. Oops. I'm sorry....

A lot of friends of my friends seem to be getting married. Yeesh.
I am happy to say, though, that I don't have a wedding dress^.~ Not even sure I would want to wear white -- stupid semi-modern Eurocentric traditions! And my mom assures me that my wedding will be a potluck dinner, because they used all the money I am going to get sending me to Penn. Personally, I think it was worth it.
