If you have custom comment pages enabled on your LJ, you are spared the horror until you run into someone's LJ that disabled that feature. Or you can go see it right here on the lj_releases post, where there are 4000+ comments asking for the reinstatement of subject lines in comments.
Between no more subject lines in comments, the new inability to select an icon by keywords if a given icon had more than one set of keywords, the general trend towards inaccessibility and inconvenience (particularly in mobile-device browsers), the ridiculous introduction of hotkeys (that overlap existing functionality on Macs!) and the dot-matrix stripiness in a freaking GRADIENT fugliness ... just wow.
The actual format, I don't mind, but the lack of subject lines and the lack of alphabetical order to my icons (like others on that thread have said, I know what my icons are by name, I don't need to see them) are pretty epic fails.
Then again, I hardly ever use LJ anymore, so... *shrug* I'll never understand why people always think that they should redesign something that people like just because it's "time" for a change, but hey, it's their business loss as more and more people switch over to DW...
Right at the top of the comments section, where the comment pagination is, there's a gradient from blue to white that looks stripey in Chrome for WinXP, 7-8 stripes depending on whether or not you count the bottom white as a stripe. Haven't had a chance to check in other browsers.
Ah okay. I just checked in Firefox and Chrome for Win7, and the gradient looks smooth (no stripes). Maybe it's a WinXP thing? Or an older version of Chrome?

What do you mean by this? I'm not seeing any stripiness, I don't think.
