My mom just went away on a 7-night business trip. I have more work this week at my part-time job than usual, and some prospects on the full-time job front, but I'm still largely unemployed. I have a mild-to-moderate foot injury which seems to be improving, but which still makes too much wandering around the city ill-advised, even in this glorious weather. I've given up on reading the book I'm reading, and I'm not all that far from finishing the video game I'm playing.

Any ideas that can keep me from going totally bored out of my skull between now and next weekend?

How's being unemployed? Cause I'm close to that point.

I pretty much play video games and read stuff, so you've destroyed any of the things to do. You could play literati at yahoo games.

It's not that bad, but it gets kind of old after awhile. And for me, that "while" is defined as after they've gone through all 4 seasons of West Wing on Bravo...

Any chance of you stopping by south Florida for a bit on the weekend of 3/26? I just booked a flight...
