Aaaaaand my car fucking got broken into again. No windows broken, nothing worth more than $20 taken, but I'm pissed at the world again.

I'm looking into spending $150-$200 to install an alarm system on a car worth no more than 10 times that, a car that I might not have for more than 3 more months.

As someone who just started parking her car on the street in south philly and would VERY much like to avoid that experience, how did you car get broken into? If that's too sensitive a questions, I can do some internet research...

Pretty sure they just used a slim jim or similar.

I just bought an alarm.

I'm glad you did what you needed to do. Sanity counts for a ton. (In case I've never mentioned that bit of my philosophy to you before... ;))

Thanks for telling me about a slim jim. boo for you needing an alarm. My car has one already, so I'm hoping for the best.
