In November, when baseball's over and shows start going into reruns (or I start getting sick of my procedurals) and I need something else to do after work...
i've really enjoyed the office. it does have a lot of 'embarrasment humor' which i find very difficult, and there are occasional moments where i have to turn away from the screen because i can't stand it, but the other good funny moments are well worth it. and ... yeah. worth watching :) 3_obsidian_fish loves Always Sunny; i saw the first ep and wans't really into it, but do plan to try again.
The Office was really awesome the first couple of seasons, but then it got kind of methodic and all about Jim/Pam, which is sweet and all but enough, you know? I haven't seen Always Sunny, but I've heard really great things about it, and it's on my list. I kind of picked 30 Rock by default - but it's hilarious and smart, so I stand by my choice :D
The office is great, but it gets really repetitive and you kind of know what to expect.
30 Rock is fun but to be honest I don't know any more than the first season. I'm working on that.
Always Sunny has a particular brand of funny that I get along with very well. It's probably not the best show on TV, but it really does something DIFFERENT. It's not boring. It's gross and wrong and bad in all the best ways. I voted for Always Sunny because I think it's the most unique and therefore the most worthy.
That is, if you've already seen all of Arrested Development.
dude, modern family really is as funny as people keep saying it is. only 4 episodes so far, but might be worth getting into a new sitcom! you can watch the episodes on abc.com

Also, there are lots of potential solutions outside of your tv. Remember your wii? And, y'know, your friends...
