In November, when baseball's over and shows start going into reruns (or I start getting sick of my procedurals) and I need something else to do after work...
i've really enjoyed the office. it does have a lot of 'embarrasment humor' which i find very difficult, and there are occasional moments where i have to turn away from the screen because i can't stand it, but the other good funny moments are well worth it. and ... yeah. worth watching :) 3_obsidian_fish loves Always Sunny; i saw the first ep and wans't really into it, but do plan to try again.
I could never watch a full episode of the American version of The Office. I could handle the British version, but only in small doses. It's definitely not something I'd binge on - I actually rented the first season from Blockbuster and had to return it long before I'd brought myself to finish the first disk. They both seem to be from the school of comedy that takes advantage of laughter as a response to discomfort, but the American version seems to be harder for me to deal with.
