Question # 1

I record shows I like and watch them when I feel like watching TV because I can't be bothered to remember to watch tv shows for the most part.

Question #2

10-15 years ago, I watched a little tv but was much busier than I am right now. However i still couldn't be bothered to remember when something was on. I was never an ohh its Thursday must watch .... I mean I knew that friends was on on thursday which I watch the last year it was on and that Buffy was on tuesdays although I never actually watched it. I am not a slave to my tv

Question #3

Still can't be bothered to pay attention but the recording technology is better. then it was 10 years ago. Even before DVRs tv-vcr combos have good programing capability. The Key is to get something that will record when you tell it AND change the channel

Question #4

All I know is that on of my best friends provides info on Gilmore girls that she reads from reliable sources on the internet.

Addendum

Today you can also rent tv shows or download them. I especially like doing that because I prefer shows that are on every day. Those shows, if they are any good, are usually several seasons old if still on the air. Like these days I watch the original CSI and home improvement. I never saw either before I moved to NC. Now I am kind of interested in seeing them in order. You miss some of the subplot when you don't know where the story comes into play.
