Wow, Facebook just got a LOT more stalkeriffic!

...okay, fine, I'll try to act like a "real blog" and link to stuff I found on Google.

Wow, Facebook just got a LOT more stalkeriffic! And some random people agree with me!

OMG!

::reads about how one person went from being "single" to "in a relationship," and another joined a group called "If You Have Shaggy Hair and are a Little Dirty, I Probably Want To Fuck You"::

It's like FaceBook has become the town gossip!

There really ought to be a way to opt out of it...

What's interesting to me is that certain aspects of Friendster's "NewsFeed/MiniFeed" seem to mirror some of the capabilities of ESN ("be notified when friends add new userpics," anybody?)

Granted, I don't think LJ's implementation is nearly as intrusive, since they're not asking for the sorts of intimate details Facebook assumes you want to provide. But maybe that's also because it also provides a new stream of immediate amusement for me - "hey, neat icon, wonder where she got it from, can i use it?"

Yep. *g*

Whoa. Totally stalkeriffic!

I feel like I invented that word 4 years ago when I was at Kutz and a friend's ex BF still drove all the way out to Warwick NY to visit her. He was known then as "_____'s stalkeriffic ex."
