Fest!

The Philly Folk Fest website just posted their first batch of performers for this summer's Fest!

There's Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams, who I love but who I already knew were coming. There's the Avett Brothers, who I vaguely remember liking from 2005 but don't remember why. There's The Duhks, who I've heard are awesome. But then...

Arrogant Worms!!!! And Jackson Browne?!?!?!?!

Man, I'm so pumped. (Even if I can't figure out what the hell Jackson Browne is doing at a folk festival.) I can't wait for August!

Wait... didn't Gandalf & the Unenthusiastic Circus of Boredom play last summer? Don't they have a rule against having the same act play two Fests in a row? Ya freaking Volunteers Committee hippie.

They do have a rule about playing two Fests in a row. The rule is that you can. Three, though, generally speaking, is right out.
