Two wrongs make a right?
Every NHL team not called "The Flyers" failed to win the Stanley Cup!
(But so did the Flyers.)
I think I'm friends with each of the 8 people left in the country who care about hockey.
In other news, I called out sick yesterday. Still sick today, but no fever anymore, so I came into work. I just feel generally miserable and achy. A lovely cough, but really no other cold symptoms. It's great, I tell you!

And yeah... Fucking NHL bastards. I was actually marginally hopeful for a minute there when the PA offered a 50 mil cap, and the owners countered with a 42.5... but no... they had to be all uppity. Fucking owners. Fucking players. I hope they all die and are reborn as pious servants of a grateful nation working for our gratitude. or something like that.
Bleh.

I still am stuck with the rotting taste in my mouth and the impression that the whole farce surrounding last-minute offers was nothing more than a PR campaign to establish who "tried harder." That is, of course, if trying not at all can be considered harder than anything.
It would be most appropriate if they were reborn as pucks. All of them. It would be most satisfying to take repeated slapshots at Bettman and Goodenow pucks.
