ramble on

I was playing with the Random Journal option a bit. And it seems like everyone is within 5 years of each other in age. I knew that LJ was mostly a teen thing, but this is nuts. In about 10 or 15 random journals, I didn't find anyone older than about my age, or anyone younger than about my cousin's age. And it seems like about half the people on here graduated high school within the past month. Which I guess makes sense, because people in between high school and college probably have nothing else to do with their summer besides post in their livejournals, right? (Don't worry; I'm not making fun. I'm jealous. Getting a job is vastly overrated.)

And everyone seems to have more interesting things to say in their journal than I do, anyway. I guess I could say more. Maybe I will; I'll think about it. But I have to say, I absolutely love this voyeuristic phase this country is going through, and I'm so proud to be a part of it.

Oh, and by the way, it's no fun playing with Random Journal without LiveJournal Connect. To demonstrate, I will hit Random one more time...

Thanks, Val....It's not that everyone's life is more interesting than mine, necessarily. It's that what they say in their journals is more interesting. I have plenty of interesting stuff in my life and in my head. Especially in my head. But I don't know if I'd dare subject everyone to that.
