I hung out with Julia Steinman a bit last night.

And a bird is nesting in a little planter we have outside, in the middle of the city.

Ha, yes, she's still....awesome. She lives in the University City area, down around Baltimore. Works at U Arts. Eli ran into her at a party once, and Jo ran into her on the street, and this time, Eli and I saw her from my car and ended up going back to her place for a bit.

It is, in fact, "Mourning" and not "Morning", referring to the sort of sad look on its face (which is really just the plumage). And of course I know something you don't, thanks to Mrs. Fingerhood. I can even know what they sound like and can do a half-decent impression.

bird seed. thats what we leave for them in our back yard and they seem to be pretty happy campers. :)

As Jilli said, DUH, they eat BIRD SEED. That's SEED FOR BIRDS. It's not that hard.
