confession

I'm usually pretty good at acknowledging someone's obvious superiority to me in a given field. But 1% of me still can't completely let go of the idea that I could've been Nate Silver, and the only reason I'm not is because he thought of the idea for that site first and works harder than I do.

This despite the fact that I only ever took one prob/stat class ever and it's by far my weakest area of math.

Did I ever mention how I basically came up with the idea for iTunes in 1998 or so and didn't pursue it? Cuz I kick myself now and again.
