So for what is shockingly the first time, I'm doing some fantasy football. It's an 8-team league with coworkers. We had the draft last night (and I had 2nd pick), and aside from some good and generous coaching beforehand from ZST, I was basically unprepared. But I think I got a pretty good team!

I think I did well, though my 2nd and possibly 3rd WR slots are kind of sucky, and I might have some trouble with 3rd RB. Also, I'm almost the only one in the league to not get a backup kicker, and almost the only one to not get a backup defense. Hopefully this won't kill me later. But I'm excited! In spite of the fact that I'm clearly going to have to root for the Giants this year!

Anyway, I'll try not to talk about it too much here. I doubt any of you still reading this journal care anyway.

Yeah, I didn't quite realize that at the time. (As I said, very little research.) On the other hand, Hixon might be starter-worthy, and Hester might be as well given that my league counts return yards. But in general my WRs are definitely my weak spot.
