I've forgotten how much I like Boston. I appreciate DC more for its people than the urban structures themselves. I respect Manhattan for its sheer tenacity. Philly is beautiful; my first and true love. But Boston, I just like it here.
I like it enough to ignore the fact that it's a beautiful warm day in Philly, but 10 degrees cooler and overcast here. And I like it as long as I'm not trying to park in Brookline. Or, really, trying to drive anywhere. Learned those lessons the hard way, years ago.

I have to go to both Woods Hole (for which I fly into Boston) and Irvine (for which I fly into LA) regularly for work and the first time I went up that way, I didn't want to go home. LA is LA, but it's also very much not for me. I could easily see myself relocating to Boston permanently if I had reason to.

Perhaps we should potluck dinnerify or something, since I know the three of us Bostonians are a bit on the broke side? We'll talk! :)
