Convenient timing. In the week and a half I thought I had off between the Jewish holidays (ended about an hour ago) and crazy canvassing for Obama lies the World Series.

It's OK that I don't get my life back until around Thanksgiving. Really. It's more fun this way.

but aside from that, go phillies. i mean, come on. impressive or no, you can't allow the tampa bay rays a championship!


also, how am i supposed to forgive a very promising mets team (albeit with a very weak pitching staff) to fall short the way they did unless the division leaders take the series? that's right, i said it: the phillies owe it to mets fans to win the world series. otherwise we'll never forgive anyone.
