So let me get this straight. The clock was running down and the Bears only had to run 1 more play before the 2-minute warning. So Andy Reid calls a timeout...and the Bears run 1 more play before the 2-minute warning? Awful clock management, and it's why the Eagles didn't have one more chance to win a winnable game.

Especially live in the stadium. I appreciate the batting strategy a little more in person, but the whole affair is still sheer torture. We only lasted for three innings on Friday before bailing, and luckily they were the three good ones.

Baseball in person has to be about more than watching baseball or else it's no fun. It has to be about taking in the other amenities in the stadium, or keeping score, or getting caught up in the crowd, or (in the case of minor-league games) the wacky between-innings antics, or something.

Why was it obvious to everyone but Andy Reid that Buckhalter was not getting into the endzone up the middle. Hey Andy, have you heard of a bootleg?

I would've liked a bootleg, but I really can't fault the call. Too many teams do crazy fancy crap in that situation and get burned. Super Bowl teams need to be able to punch that in. (A quicker run play might've been nice, and then the Bears' RDE couldn't have come around to make the play off the end; but I like the idea of a run up the middle in general.)

I would've liked a QB sneak by Kolb, too, honestly. (McNabb was apparently too hurt to sneak.)
