(no subject)

Now that I'm That Guy, walking around the city listening to my iPod, does anyone have any podcasts they'd like to recommend? My attention span is bad with lots of talking if it's narrative, so sadly This American Life is out, as is anything similar. Got anything else?

All of the podcasts that I listen to (or used to, as I am stalwartly refusing to be That Guy anymore) are news related. Here goes, from best to not-as-best:

NPR - On the Media (weekly) (although maybe it's too much narrative, it's still one of the goddamned best and most informative newscasts ever. Very good for you)
NPR - Wait wait dont tell me (weekly)
NPR - News and Notes (daily)
BBC - world service (all kinds of wacky frequencies and formats)

Wait Wait Don't Tell Me is my personal fav. I got more weird looks on the 125 into Philly as that show caused me to snort my breakfast. :)

This is now happening to me every week on my walk to work. People are starting to give me looks. Best podcast ever.
