August of Awesomeness, version 7
Like any good monthly periodical, my August of Awesomeness this year came out early, in mid-July.
Friday, July 18th through Sunday, July 20th: KZ/TLS exchange in DC
Tuesday, July 22nd: Rachel and Seth move to Philly
Friday, July 25th through Sunday, July 27th: Falcon Ridge Folk Festival
Monday, July 28th: Last Frisbee game of the summer
Saturday, August 2nd: KBH goodbye party
Sunday, August 3rd: Eileen Ivers concert? Stepbrother's birthday party?
Monday, August 11th through Sunday, August 17th: Havurah Institute
Sunday, August 17th: Philly Folk Fest (almost definitely going that day, it looks like)
Monday, August 18th: Sleeping a lot
Week of Monday, August 18th: Maxine in town
Tuesday, August 19th: Back to work at the best job I've ever had, which I'm still not taking for granted
Wednesday, August 20th: Phillyhenge

Sadly, at our latitude, you can't seem to get more than 31 degrees off of true east/west at sunrise or sunset. Shame. It seems that you have to have a latitude higher than 55 degrees (either north or south) to have any -henge in a 45-degree city.

as best I can tell (with an PDF protractor that advises against using it on screen), mt. airy is ~39.5 degrees off of true e/w. i'm inclined to trust desh's research over yours...
