There are 2 major companies that make the exact same cookies. Different Girl Scout troops get from different places, I suppose. Aside from Thin Mints (and maybe one or two others), the names are all different depending on which company your cookies are from.
It's not clear, but what is clear is that 2 companies is the lowest number in awhile. At one point there were 14 different companies. And they each presumably have/had different names for them, or at least were allowed to.
Speaking of which, after about a week of troubles, I think I've finally gotten my Inquirer delivery straightened out. There were issues with it at my new apartment.
