Summer concerts

As always, even though I'll probably only go to a handful of these, here's what I'm considering now. Lemme know if you might want to go.

Sunday July 15: Decemberists @ The Mann (Dammit, why do things have to be on the same day?)
Tuesday July 17: Reel Big Fish @ Croc Rock
Sunday July 22: Cracker @ Freehold, NJ
Thursday July 26: The Duhks @ Tin Angel
Friday August 17 through Sunday August 19: Philadelphia Folk Festival @ The Old Pool Farm

Not bad at all. Yay, summer!

oh, and by the way, you shoudl check out the two bands I posted about just the other day... The Rosebuds and the Bowerbirds... I think you'd like both of them.

I like the Bowerbirds a bit, but I can already tell they'd grow on me if I listened to them a lot. Hard to tell about the Rosebuds from 30 second snippets...do you have any MP3s I could get from you at some point?

Actually, just as you posted that, I was looking for a better embed to put in there... Just found one with my favorite Rosebuds song... I went ballistic when they played this... like, actually dancing and singing with a retarded smile on my face. And Me, I don't dance that often. So yeah, go check the post out again, there's a full song posted.

I might have a friend who might have one particularly expensive, particularly close-up ticket to spare. (Or I might not.) She also might comment here if she notices this post and still has that ticket.

Yeah, I almost called you from the concert. But really, you didn't miss too much; it was rain-shortened to a bit less than an hour. Nice, though.
