I'm going to miss Hillel people a real lot when I graduate. There are only four Shabbats left before the end of finals, and I already have some friends who will be here for none of them.

Added to the list of songs I know that are absolutely perfect to hear in some certain, specific mood: "Back To The Earth" by Rusted Root. Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] shekkichebaz. (Other songs that fit certain moods, off the top of my head, include "Kashmir" and "When The Levee Breaks" by Led Zeppelin, "Dogs" and "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd, "Everybody Hurts" by REM, "Smile" by Pearl Jam, "American Pie" by Don McLean, "We Are The Champions" and "Princes of the Universe" by Queen, and many more that I can't think of this second.)

I need to write more to the various listservs I'm on and to my web page. Those of you that read here get more of me than basically anyone else I have online contact with.

It's spring, and I'm feeling it. The weather affects my mood too much, and usually in a good way; baseball is at the forefront of my thoughts; and a young man's fancy is definitely turning to thoughts of stuff frequently associated with spring...

I like wearing black.

Thank God for people who smile when they see you, or stop and talk when you're just walking past them. It's so simple, but can't be anything but genuine, and is so meaningful because of that. (Any of you who smiled just reading that, I could tell. Thank you.)

I'm not prepared for the end of the semester with respect to classes, and I'm not prepared for being done college with respect to having something to do afterwards. But I think I'm very well-prepared for graduation with respect to emotions. I feel it all welling up already.
