For my 8th (or was it 9th?) birthday, I got a Nintendo. That made it one of my best birthdays ever.

On this birthday so far, I got to have my first conversation with Ami in way too long, I'm going to NYC later, I'm listening to the Women's Music Hour on WXPN (happy 64th, Janis Joplin!), and there's a coating of snow on the ground for the first time this season. That's also making it one of my best birthdays ever.

Funny how things change, eh?

And I keep picturing myself doing the gesture from erin's birthday userpic.

happy birthday! weekend new york trip + snow = very nice way to spend your birthday. it's just a shame that those sleepovers at the natural history museum are sold out. that would be the best way EVER to spend an nyc bday.
