No, really, post offices rule.
I haven't been posting much because work is really busy. But we're almost done; our huge deadline is at the end of this week, and we're very much in the stretch run now. I still don't have specific links to show you to describe what we're working on. But if you make under $50K per year, and you live in Pennsylvania, DC, Maryland, Ohio, Mississippi, or a state without state income tax (AK/FL/NV/SD/TX/WA/WY), you can use our program to file your (federal, and where applicable, state) taxes! For free! You like free things, don't you? So stay away from that big green square company, and that Turbo company. They're much more expensive than free.
Some books I've gotten recently:
The New Annotated Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Short Stories (yes, I'm a Holmes nerd)
The Philadelphia Area Weather Book (yes, I'm a weather nerd)
Merriam-Webster's Concise Dictionary of English Usage (yes, I'm a language nerd)
I've started getting a lot of spam with current news headlines in the subject line. I guess this means I can stop reading cnn.com. The quality of news is probably about the same, anyway.

http://majorityleader.house.gov/clock.cfm is a script that returns the time elapsed in Nancy Pelosi's "first hundred hours". Anyone want to make that into a pretty thing I can include on a web page or something?
