Fall concerts

As usual, I'll probably end up going to half of these or fewer, but this is what's on my radar screen as of now. Let me know if you're even tangentially interested.

Tuesday November 28: The Stills @ World Cafe Live
Saturday December 16: Eileen Ivers @ Annenberg Center
Saturday December 30: Gandalf Murphy & The Slambovian Circus of Dreams @ World Cafe Live

Wow, that's one of the best concert seasons ever. Also, I'll be buying Decemberists and Eileen tickets very soon, so please let me know right away if you're potentially interested.

I'd be interested in Flogging Molly, Indigo Girls, Natalie MacMaster and perhaps Arlo, though last time he disappointed me and didn't do Alice's Restaurant...

Possibly Indigo Girls, depending on price. Actually, Erika might have a connection on that (works @ Kimmel). I'll have to look into it.

I've seen the Indigo Girls. They put on a GREAT show.

Last Indigo Girls show I saw, they converted half the guys' bathrooms into gals' bathrooms for the night.

It's really quite an awesome venue. I think I even like the TLA a bit more: same idea, but smaller.

Haven't spent all that much time in philly, but have seen a bunch of shows there. In nyc, irving plaza takes it for me but the academy has a special place in my heart as well. this all takes me back to my days as a goth/ndustrial kid and i guess the factory just reminds me of a combo of these two nyc venues. tla is great, too.
