That should keep you occupied for hours and hours. It's a semi-comprehensive list of TV show crossovers and how they tie seemingly unrelated TV shows into "realities." Through a 6-Degrees-of-Kevin-Bacon style game you can show that I Love Lucy take place in the same universe as Seinfeld (as do Mad About You, Oz, The X-Files, and even COPS).
And all of TV history is apparently the daydream of an autistic child on St. Elsewhere.
But isn't there a paradox somewhere? I heard something like there was one TV show where characters were watching another TV show which was supposedly in the same universe. Does that make one of them a reality show?
Yeah the rules are necessarily lax because of all the contradictions a complete listing would cause.
Take for example The Fresh Prince's crossover with Blossom (and if you remember Blossom, kudos). Blossom meets Will Smith and reacts as she would if she met a celebrity "OMG it's Will Smith!" But Will Smith's character, "Will Smith" is not famous on tFPoBA. So that means that tFPoBA is a show in Blossom's world.
But a few episodes later there's another crossover, where Blossom's brother dates Hillary Banks. So that means that tFPoBA is part of the same reality as Blossom.
There's a contradiction right within the same two shows.
And I'm convinced there's nothing "real" about "reality shows" anyhow, ha.
