There's lots of lightning outside. I can't remember ever seeing a thunderstorm in Philly in January before. Except last week.

I was driving up I-95 around ten o'clock, on my way home from work, and encountered some of the nastiest wind gusts I've ever experienced. My Saturn doesn't exactly have a high profile, and yet it was a battle to stay in my lane. Heaven knows how the tractor trailers were managing, even if they were loaded down.

The lightning was damned impressive, too.

during finals this past december we had thunder during a snowstorm and I thought it was so cool I called my mom in Philly to tell her about it, but she had already seen it and was underwhelmed...
