Yes, still a poll addict here

Okay, so you're making a sandwich with some sort of sliced meat (veggies feel free to substitute fake meat, or just pretend the sandwich is for someone else or something since we're not really making a sandwich anyway). And each slice of meat is like a third wider than each slice of bread. What do you do?

[Poll #651120]

In other news, it's possible I'm getting weirder.

Apologies to those who voted and/or commented on a previous version of this poll, in the 45 seconds before I realized I forgot an option, deleted it, and reposted. Please feel free to vote again.

Often, I rip sandwich meats that are too big and pile the edges in the center of the sandwich. Which is a lot like one of your methods, but with less folding. (And sometimes with more eating the bits before the sandwich.)

Me too, though if I don't nibble the wayward edges, I often go through the trouble of actually cutting them off with a knife.

The fillng:bread:condiment is a delicate ratio that must be maintained. Folding is uncouth and upsets the balance. And the assembling of the sandwich is, in itself, something of a Zen exercise.

I've thought way too much about this.
