old joke

Tropical Storm Epsilon, the 26th named storm of the season, formed in the Atlantic recently. It's a very, very small tropical storm. The smallest possible tropical storm imaginable. Infintesimally small, in fact.

(To those who don't get it: sorry. Do those who do get it: sorry more.)

The shortest math joke ever: let epsilon be less than zero.

And what's up with these fucking storms already.

I don't get it, and I'm glad. I already had Adam tell me a bad math joke, involving Nu. And then Brad came up to me today and said "did you hear that Adam has a new joke?" Yes I did. And I predicted Brad's reponse when Adam originally told it to me: that Adam would get smacked over the head.

I think there should be laws regulating the telling of math jokes.

And btw- this is where the stereotype of math majors being socially inept comes from. They get ostracized when they tell math jokes. :-p

I don't get it, and I even don't get what type of nerdy joke this is. It could be math, physics, Star Trek, HGTG for all I know.
