A non-exhaustive list of things I might be doing right now, or in the near future, if I had no need for money the rest of my life:

• Working on a theater crew, assuming there exist jobs I'd like that would also enable me to keep my current religious practices
  
• Studying Game Theory
  
• Studying or otherwise working with Jewish demography
  
• Umpiring professional baseball games

The overlap between this list and the things I'm actually looking to do right now, or in the next several years, is minimal. I don't know if that bothers me or not.

I totally read that as "Jewish discography," which led to thoughts of Desh, a.k.a. DJ Zohar (or something), spinning in a club on Saturday (but not Friday!) nights. :-p

you could have left out the words "and the things I'm actually looking to do right now, or in the next several years," because that's a pretty wide ranging list there. I would say go for the umpiring thing because A)that's so friggin cool B)you have undeniably the best seat in the house for every game you watch C)I think it takes a lot of training so you would have to start now* D)the bitches. Man, the bitches LOVE umpires. Oh yeah


*umm, you know, or later. I guess there's no rush really. How physically fit do you have to be to stand in one place for 3 hours?
