Apparently, Josh (who I've known since before birth, incidentally) managed to marry four women, Katie included. And then he lost two of them (not like they died, he just managed to lose them - don't know where they went). But it's all good.

The first married couple, by the way, were both from my graduating class at LM. I wish them all the best, though they've probably already forgotten they got married. It was fairly rushed. ;-)

Also, Natalie MacMaster ruled just as much as La Bottine Souriante (which means "The Smiling Boot" in Frenchiespeak). They were both hip-hopping enough to get everyone dancing but skilled enough to make you want to sit and just listen. Plus, they both included prodigious amounts of tap dancing to add to the rhythms. They rocked so much.

As for Da Vinci's Notebook, they're not officially "breaking up". The two of them that are leaving are leaving because they have kids to raise and don't want to be on the road as much as before. In fact, it's a very amicable separation, meaning that there's LOTS of opportunity for reunion tours and engagements. In fact, I asked them as much as they were signing my CDs and they said the same - that they're just taking a break, not breaking up. I expect we'll see them again, possibly at a Folk Fest, since they seem to love it so much.

Also, my sunburn from Fest (really, from three or four hours of Sunday) has already cleared up, just leaving me looking very, VERY tanned (slightly burned) but feeling fine. My brother, however, came down with Strep Throat somehow, and is resting up. I honestly don't know how he caught something, since I slept less than he and turned out just fine. Maybe I'm just the stronger Cohen.

Anyway, I'm sorry to hear about your shower ordeal. If you had asked, I went home (I think on Friday) to take a shower, get some more clothes, and bring more beer - you could have accompanied me. Either way, it worked out, didn't it? Well, I'll see you around, Deshie.

And to everyone else who read this, you have no excuse if you don't come to Fest. It is awesome.
