(no subject)

It looks like the middle of the night outside, and sounds like a bowling alley. The major street I live on looks more like a river. And I just heard the weather forecaster on the radio use the word "apocalypse".

Oh, summer.

I got into work just as it got incredibly dark and, as the huge rolls of thunders came in, I said "Helloooooo, Apocalypse!" Not that this observation is strange coming from me...

also... we've been call the little icon on Jason's iphone weather display for thunderstorms "armageddon" or "apocalypse" ever since it appeared the first time.

The power went out earlier in my office building because of a bolt of lightning that went out earlier. I feel really bad for the people on the elevator...

It was raining so hard I got on the wrong train (cause SETPA was running late so the train that left that I ran to catch @ 7:28 was NOT the 7:28 local, it was the 7:16 Express) and had to ride all the way to 30th St.

So Neoparn offered to pick me up and give me a ride back to 'Nova and it was sunny by the time I got to work!
