One worth mentioning is friction tape. It is a fabric tape. The one time I saw it, it was black and about 3/4" wide. It is slightly adhesive, but tends to stick to only itself (under its own power). Sort of the anti-Teflon. It's great for bundling things together, or as a substitute for electrical tape.
