Followup

Followup from yesterday:

* My mom's friend just had successful surgery today. Last I heard, no one was concerned about the recovery.

* Speaking of recovery, I actually got my comforter from Ikea! I called them yesterday morning, and the call didn't leave me optimistic. But I went to the store yesterday evening to make one last chance. No clerk had checked in a lost comforter. But they decided to check inventory for me, and 20 minutes later, they found that they had one extra of the exact thing I'd lost. So they gave it to me!

Still no Purim costume, but I have a possible idea...

LJ just eliminated the basic (free and not-ad-supported) account type going forward. And didn't announce it in their news post.

If you hate this change, rather than complaining to the support volunteers and employees who mostly also hate this change, contact the company directly.

Sigh.
