Harry Potter 6 (paperback version) came out today. I bought it, and I'm about halfway done. Hate needing to sleep and do errands and stuff...I might not finish until Thursday.

So in case I finish and am curious what the rest of you thought about it...

You're definitely making me feel the need to reread and refresh my memory. I remember doing HP all-day everyday until I finished it. As for thoughts, I don't think this is spoilery, but I remember being really mad about a lot of different things at the end. Happy reading!

Agreed! But I have to say, rereading book 2 was hard by comparison after having seen what 15-year-old Harry was like. Even at my ripe old age, I can still relate to teenagers better than pre-teens, it seems.

I loved that she did that. He became a teenager and its wonderful. Very few authors manage to create a consistant character that grows up.

BTW I can't believe you haven't read it yet. why didn't you borrow one or get it from the library if you didn't want to pay for the hard back?

I was trying to borrow one for awhile (starting last August, when I finally caught up through #5), but after about a month it occured to me that I actually could stand to wait until now. After all, this way I only had a one-year wait between 5 and 6, and a year less than the rest of y'all do betwen 6 and 7. I think it works out pretty well that way.

naw -- i am not crazy about HP; it's simply another boy adventure series for me (though i think it's improving as it goes on). i just finished book 5 which i finally found used. :)
