The end of an era

The full text of a letter I just sealed and am going to mail off tomorrow:

Dear Commissioner Tartaglione,

I hereby resign my position as Judge of Election in Philadelphia's [number] ward, [number] division, effective immediately. I am resigning because I intend to move out of the division before the November elections.

I greatly appreciate the opportunity to help perform the important civic duty of ensuring fair elections, and I hope I have the chance to do so again in the future.

I don't know yet, but I'm looking at apartments in the area. Remember that the division is like four blocks square, and I don't want to live in the one apartment building that's included in it.
