phillyweather: Rankings of the 277 largest United States metropolitan areas, in order of how varied their weather is. They've got cool maps and stuff. (The site is apparently 8 years out of date, but I don't think this information changes often.) Least varied weather, over the course of a year: San Francisco, CA. (Most varied: Springfield, MO.) Philly is a respectable 137th, higher than just about any other city within 75 miles of either ocean.
And from BZ, for all of you fanfic writers out there who need a new challenge: http://www.mcsweeneys.net/2006/5/4wiencek.html. I promise I'll give $1 or a hug or something to anyone who writes me a story based on one of these. Especially #4.
